returns postmarked within 10 days after receipt of purchase are eligible for store credit only. all returns require approval from checkered moon by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org for approval.
special orders are non-refundable and cannot be returned. If you have questions about this – contact us prior to ordering.
returned items must arrive in original condition and packaging to be eligible for refund. items that arrive broken or damaged cannot be refunded – this includes items damaged in transit. please insure your return package against loss or damage.
all sale items are final sale – any sale item that is returned – will not be shipped back to the customer and a store credit will not be given. no exceptions made.

domestic shipping rates
all orders ship for $9.50 excluding lighting, rugs, artwork, and furniture.
items shipped to alaska & hawaii require an additional $25 charge. unfortunately, we cannot ship to the u.s. territories or internationally.
rugs: most of our rugs, subject to availability, typically ship between 7-10 days from the date of your order, unless otherwise specified on the product page.
artwork: some of our artwork is custom, made-to-order. Please allow 6-8 weeks from our vendors for fulfillment and delivery, unless otherwise specified on the product page. All artwork sales are final.
lighting: most lighting, subject to availability, should ship between 1 – 2 weeks from the date of your order, unless otherwise specified on the product page.
most in-stock items ship from our champaign, Illinois warehouse. we do not ship on weekends or holidays. checkered moon will do it’s utmost to ensure your timely delivery but, cannot be held responsible for conditions beyond our control such as weather or service interruptions. we’ll do our best though – you can count on that!
